"Ice Cream Gula Apong". 

The most talk about delicacy now in Sarawak. This ice cream can only be found in Sarawak because of the special sugar use to make it, that is "gula apong"..

The word gula apong is a local language that means brown sugar or as the west malaysian people might refer to it as "gula melaka". But, the texture of gula apong is more refine n thicker. And it taste more creamy and sweet.

This ice cream gula apong was made famous by the "Dp ice cream" shop that only sell this delicacy. Their ice cream is famous because of the secret recipe of the owner's father. The owner is a local Sarawakian malay family.

The taste of this ice cream is creamy and sweet and at the same time it is light to the palette. It goes well with the extra sprinkle of oreo,nestum and peanuts (as per your choice) and a wholesome of gula apong syrup.

  In this Chinese new year i am not comed back to my hometown and we went to Penang and Langkawi
  Pengang food had to be included in the New York times extremely frugal food class ranking 12th, and its food culture is mainly divided into Chinese  and India food,
Among them ,again in Chinese to chaozhou and fujian people as main population,so the characteristic of food also to chaozhou and fujian cuisine to the lord.In that days, we dishes like char kway teow,shrimp noodles, curry noodles ,oyster and seafood,its very delicious!!!

After three days we gone to Langkawei and take the ship in three hours In that day our destination is the opposite of few islands,in particular to remind  everyone pay attention to the dock of 'acting suspiciously' hand camera man in red,if you don't need to plate,ptherwise while visiting return when you happy,he will be a magic trick out of a plate with your photos,saying a few word"island hopping to commemorate"and demanded 10 ringgit!!!

Visiting pregnant women returned to the eagle island,the bald eagle flying in the sky,close to me,even see clear feathers.

Captain scare tourists on a boat to see not to play on the island,it will be the eagle away.

Five days later,we went back to school by bus,on the whole,this vacation is colorful.

Birthday party

Assalamualaikum para pembaca, hari ini saya akan menceritakan tentang sambutan hari lahir rakan baik saya Mohammad Faris bin Abdullah atau lebih dikenali sebagai "six-packs"di ALAM. Pada 31 Januari yang lepas, kami beramai-ramai telah pergi ke Mikey's New York Pizza yang terletak di Publika, Hartamas. Pada mulanya, kami hanya berancang untuk makan di tempat yang berdekatan dengan Shah Alam, tetapi kerana keinginan untuk mencuba pizza yang baharu ini, kami akhirnya membuat keputusan.

Mikey's New York Pizza merupakan satu-satunya restoran yang menyediakan pizza sebesar 18 inci, iaitu merupakan  pilihan pizza yang terbesar di Malaysia. Memandangkan kami terdiri daripada 9 orang, kami telah memilih untuk order 2 pizza yang bersaiz large. Kami memilih "Buffalo Chicken Pizza" yang berperisa ayam dan juga "The Tony Soprano yang berperisa daging.

Tentang harganya pula, boleh dikatakan lebih mahal berbanding pizza di restoran-restoran biasa seperti Dominos Pizza dan juga Pizza Hut. Satu pizza bersaiz large(18 inci) berharga RM88.00 tidak termasuk gst. Kami juga telah order segelas air A&W Root Beer yang berharga RM 4.50 segelas.

Selepas selesai order, kawan saya iaitu birthday boy dengan baik hati telah membelanja kami semua. Saya agak terkejut apabila dia berkata sedemikian kerana bill sudah menunjukkan RM 245.50 termasuk gst dan juga service charge sebagainya. Kami amatlah berterima kasih kepada Faris kerana, sebagai student jika hendak mengeluarkan RM20++ seorang untuk sekali makan merupakan perkara yang luar biasa sebenarnya.

Apapun, jika terdapat rating 1 hingga 10 untuk restoran ini, saya pasti memberi 8/10 kerana layanan baik dari pekerja di sana dan yang pasti makanan yang amat memuaskan. Sekian sahaja daripada saya, assalamulaikum.

Assalamualaikum semua sekali. Apa khabq smua? Harap2 smua kelia nowh. So ni crita 2-3 mnggu lepas. Baru sempat nak share. Haha. 

Aku anak jati Kedah. Belajaq kt Melaka. Tpi main Liga Selangoq. Nampak macam hebat tapi tak yg sbnaqnya. Depa ambik aku sbb tk ckup org ja. Mula2 trsa. Tapi lama2 jdi ok. Sbb bole main gak. Bole buat style lgi atas padang. Haha.

The Delivery Of An Accommodation Work Boat

Assalamualaikum and good day to you, yeah you ! The reader. :D

Now let me share with you my experience of delivering a new vessel.

If   I want to tell from A-Z, it's gonna be a loooooooooong page scrolling,

so a summary would be okay, right?

I believe that not many cadets will get the experience to do it.

And let's begin !

     Can't miss the chance to take photo with the Lenglui (the agent), but why you close your eyes? :D

   Checked-in at the hotel, it was nice and comfortable. No complaint at all for the accommodation.        Thumbs up to the agent, thank you Lenglui !

The only halal restaurant available around our hotel area. No other choice can be make, otherwise we will be starving to death ! We had all the breakfast, lunch & dinner there. The owner was so happy to see us every time we step in, haha. And the food there was so different from here even I often go to Muslim-Chinese restaurant to eat Chinese food.

Finish with eating, it's time to loitering around the area and I encountered the Policemen were doing roadblock at the middle of a cross-junction. It is so different from here in Malaysia, where the Police will put signs and all that. I saw this one old uncle riding a motorcycle and stop at the cross junction. One of the policeman already hiding behind the bushes and pop out directly to took away the key of the uncle's motorcycle. I was shocked at the moment. Maybe that's the way they do it here.

Now to the ship yard ! The great MV Icon Valiant ! It's a big vessel compared to other types of Offshore Supply Vessel (OSV). Let's go take a look inside !

First thing first, of course the bridge. It's big and huge. ICON VALIANT is a DP-2 vessel, thus you can see at the aft console where all the DP equipments located.

After done with all the preparation, we cast off and depart !
P/S : Actually I skipped most of the hard work done for the preparation of departure and it takes several days to be completed due to the rushing of time.

And of course, the bad weather is a must for all seafarer. This is the baddest of all i have encountered and here; a video as a proof.

Upon arrival at Labuan, the hard work begins when all the vessel items, equipments and spares arrived. As you can see in the pictures, we had to check one by one because there are no Delivery Order or other notes saying what kind of items are inside each packages. With lack of man power and rushing of time, it's one hell of a job to be completed.

After done with the delivery job, it's time to say goodbye. Good crew, good experience and good memories. Hope to see them all in the future !
