SPORTS ACHIEVEMENT

All my people in the club, party all night, we want some more! Some more!! Eh, silap lorong pulak.. haha.. By the way, abam nak share sukan ape yang abam penah main selama 22 tahun ni. Nak kata mastered taklah sampai macam tu. Kira boleh-boleh je. Name pun Nik, so “just do it”. LOL..

Masa abam kecik2 dulu, zaman primary school SKKBRK5, abam join banyak sukan. At first, biasa la, orang Malaysia memang craving nak main bola, then, suatu hari tu ada satu selection, abam pun try la. Dulu xde kasut mercurial mcm CR7, dulu kasut ladang je. Well, I am 90’s bitch!! Haha.. then, abam pegi la selection. Try punye try, abam dapat join.. coach panggil abam “pok nik”. Well, the coach give ‘em funny names.. lucky me.

Abam jadi 1^st eleven zaman sekolah rendah as a “winger”. Peringkat zon tu kitorang ayam-ayam je sekolah lain. Then, menang. Tapi kitorang ade rivals sendiri, SKFK1.. it was a good competition.. kinda tradition that we will meet at the finals. No doubt. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lost.

Then, after the football seasons was over, abam rasa bosan.. one evening, abam turun padang nak main bola petang2, then abam nampak a group of people throwing a ball. (Time tu abam darjah 3) abam pun try jenguk. Then the coach saw me sitting down at the ground. He asked me that if I wanna play he’ll let me. Then abam Tanya, ni sukan ape? He said, bola baling (handball). Lepas tu abam rasa, ok, boleh try… lps try, abam rasa abam ada natural potential. Abam dapat join handball team. Same as football, we got permanent and yearly rivals, they are SKKBRKB5. Then of course we win. J..

At the secondary school, abam got invited to join Sekolah Menengah Sains Dungun (SMSD). Then abam join. There, abam rasa nak main bola sepak, but there’s a lots of people who wanna join that sport. Then abam join handball. Macam biasa, when champ plays, champion is in hand. (Haha poyo) but we win. Then seasons over. Abam nampak satu court main macam bola jaring, tapi boleh dribble the ball. Kinda odd when I see a bunch of males play bola jaring mixed with handball. I laughed. Then I think that sport kinda cool. Abam duk kat bench. Abam form 1. Coach nampak, his name is Hamdany Halimi. He is tall, Chinese looking guy but he is malay. He is looking for form 1 students who wanna play that sport. Then abam malu-malu jawab, ok. Then I play. Well, I got the basics from the handball sport, I extract those skills onto this new sports so called basketball. Then abam rasa oh, this sports feels even cooler than handball.

Biasa la, bila newbie junior join a team, the senior pun bagi rules la… the rules are

1. I have to be the earliest guy to be on court.
2. I have to bring two bucket of drinking water. (freakin heavy)
3. I have to clean up the court. (basically after rain)
4. I have to make announcement to all the players to get ready for training.
5. I have to bring a net full of balls to the court.

Fuh, banyak rules and regulations diorang bagi, but what to do, for the team.. as for the Sekolah Berasrama Penuh (SBP) we got our  own divisions. As for the zone, SMSD dalam kelompok zon timur.

Usually SMSD & SEMSAS will represent Zon Timur to the national level. The toughest of all.

Up until today, I do play all of the sport that I mention. Actually there’s a lots of sports that I have join (futsal, badminton, track and fields, hockey). But the above sport that I mention was the best sport (top achievement).
