Shawn Lee is consider as the #1 beat boxer in Malaysia, He was born in 1991. He started beat boxing as the same way that I learned that is by watching videos in YouTube. However before getting known in beat boxing, he was introduce in the entertainment industry by as child actor. He won the Malaysia Best Child Actor at the 18th Film Festival and has performed internationally in countries like Taiwan, Brunei, Singapore and Germany. In 2009, his talent was finally exposed when he got the 9th place out of 45 contestants from 40 different countries at the Beat Boxer Battle World Champion in Berlin.
He was the youngest participants in the event and he was quite impressive. later on with that motivation, he also won the the titile of First malaysian Beat box challenge organized by Indi youth Festival at One Utama.
Good thing about Shawn is, he is flexible as he could collaborate with DJs, rappers, as long as there is music and he is good to go. As for now he is currently Asia's first beat Boxer and he has sucessfully made it to Top 4 in Beatbox Battle World Championship 2012 and 2014.
With his achievements, he has truly touches many of the young souls like me who love music integrating with beat boxing in a way to encourage these people to go for their dreams in the music industry. This is shows that nothing is impossible if we are willing to work hard and strive for our goals.
