What I'd proud of..

Hi, I want to share some stuff that I did and I’m proud of it, well it’s depend on how to think actually.
First, I need to you guys to get to know about me. Well, I’m a game enthusiast. I like to play a classic game; it’s more like a game that most people appreciate. Example are like The Legend of Zelda, you know that “Hey! Listen!” fairy that people keep talking about. So, to start it straight, I was looking for a game titled Pokémon: SoulSilver. It may sound like childish right, “Pokémon”, but yeah it is. It is a remake game of 1998 game Pokémon: Silver that was my first Pokémon game that I ever played. It was the best yet, most outstanding and longest game that I played so far when I was 10 years old. So, playing that game really bring the nostalgia of me when I was a little kid and some sort of spark that you can feel, more like déjà vu.

That SoulSilver was released during 2010 and it’s already stopping the production. I was looking for that game ever since but I never seen that game in Malaysia because there were really less NDS (a console) players in Malaysia. I found one before, but it was in Japanese language (which obviously I won’t understand).

So, in 2015, after 5 years of searching, I’d arrived in USA. I’m not saying that I join the seaman just to find this game, NO. But while I was on it, why not I look for it. So my first search was in Louisiana Mall, there was a pawn shop, more like a game pawn shop. From every old school game from 32-bits arcade game to 3 dimensions game, they got everything. Even an original cartridge of SNES which is extraordinary legend, still on those shelves. With this, I am 100% sure that I really can find that game here.

So I ask the shop dealer about my quest, she (yes, it’s a girl) said that they do really have. YESS!!! The moment when I heard the word “yes we have”, I jumped until I hit the roof only if I can do that. And the price was $50. WHAT THE FISH?!! It cost like a bundle of potatoes enough supply for whole month! So I asked again hope that I misheard but I wasn’t.

I asked her why it is so pricey. Then she said this game that most people appreciate (same word that I used), and she keep go on talking about Pokémon (I really surprised like a guy found out her girlfriend a boy) which is most girl would never know about it. Then I took a deep thought for a while and decided not to. My current salary just $200 and it took ¼ of my salary if I bought it. So I return to my ship.

When I was on board my ship, I took another deep thought again and the next thing I know that I went ashore again and bought that game. Arghhh, it kind of ridiculous eh? I didn’t regret at all actually.  Well, the turning point actually is that you can get the game for free by download it on PC and play it.

You must be thinking that why I am so stupid to waste on $50 for something that you can get for free. Here’s a point, I respect the creator of the game. Their ideas, the music, the graphic, they didn’t create it just like that you know. They hired talented composer, high-class artist, multi-lingual translator, skilled programmer and I am very sure they spent a lot more that you pay. There are so many people committed on the works; the proof is their 20 minutes long of end credit. That’s why I support them. As I said before, it is depend on how you think actually. This is how I think, so what yours?
