KSPL 2016 ⚓

Heyo,

Before we end the semester, I got something that I forgot to share with you guys.

So this is it, last April my ROTU squad had compete in the Kejohanan Sukan Palapes Laut 2016 that were held in University Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. The game only last for two days, but the struggle feels like thousand days long. lol what am I saying 😂 ALAM was the champion for last two years so we hope that this year we'll be the champ again.

So on the first day we have the opening ceremony. The championship only have 5 teams though. Team from UiTM Shah Alam, University Malaya, University Putra Malaysia, KD Sri Klang and us. So we have our own mascot, like year before our mascot is still The Shark 🐬 Even though during the opening we didnt shine a bit (cause one of the team doing some dance for 5 min length) i think our team look a bit more mature 😎 heheheh

So the first game was 5km run 🏃 for men and 2.4km 🏃 for women. And guess what, we beat other universities with a distance of 1.4 km! 😱 That is so rad! And fyi, we only target for the male title only cause we have really less female squad. The girls got really tired because every games they join and possiblity to win is..umm illogical i think. So we scored gold for the run and the next game is football/soccer ⚽

Three cheers for ALAM in!

Here we all played like hell and cheer like hell because we certainly positive we could win with all of the training that we done before. Our cheer team was the best! 🙌 🙌We even created our own Haka which were lead by PK Basyir. But, lady luck not on our side so we only placed at 2nd 😩

Then, the next game was badminton, volleyball, takraw and we didnt get a single medal at all 😂 We didnt target for that game so we give a chance for other team. The game last until evening then everyone have a short break before the big event at night.

So, at night time, the swimming competition 🏊🏊🏊 We get 5 out of 6 gold meddaaalll!! 😱 Alam's team was outstanding 😃 Actually we could get all of them gold but one of the game was dqued because some team try to argue ❌ with us because they said we swap player. Nehh. Its okay we won 5 anyway.

So, on the last day, it started with Netball. The girls team were struggled real hard 💪 but we opponent team was too strong. We didnt win for that game but it was good game actually 👏 For futsal, i dont know. We flopped at early stage not as per planned. So then we having a hard time to clean win because there are 3 teams that having same score. The only game left was deck hockey.

We never train at all for deck hockey cause we didnt target for that game. So everyone kinda worried. And game after game, we reached the final. We dont know what makes us get there, maybe the passion and commited to the team makes us get to the final. Also our cheer team never stop cheerin 🙌 So then the final, our opponent was UPM. The battle was difficult but we won!!! 🎉🎊🎉 Everyone cheer proudly with tears as we defend our champion title for three consecutive years! 🏆 We were proud of us, of our team 👐

So during the award giving ceremony, we put on our shirt with 🌟🌟🌟 proof that we won three year straight for champion title. After the celebration 🎆🏆🎉, we took a lot of picture of us and also with other university. It was a good game, yeah good game 👏👏 Tbh, I didnt participate on any game 😆 But who cares anyway we still won ✌️ I'm more like giving moral support heheheh.
