Pulau Merak Part II (THE DAY TO COME)

In my 1^st Entry, (MY JOURNEY TO PULAU MERAK,JAKARTA.) I mention about my journey from Johor to Pulau Merak. In this entry, I would like to tell you about ‘A DAY TO COME’..... What day is it? Yeah of course SIGNING OFF DAY!

First of All, I still not missed a chance to go shore leave again. This time we bought our provision in nearest market of Pulau Merak. Yeah we still using ‘ANGKUT’ or ‘Angkutan Kota’ for our transportation.

Its raining when we going ashore.

 Its a small town guys.So,don't expect the jetty be like a great wharf.We went to the market nearby to buy some provisions.

Isotonic drinks similar to '100plus' in Malaysia

For your information, when we were at the market, the local people served us with coffee and local food. The welcome us to Indonesia. Their face looks very happy when they know us were from Malaysia.

After finished buying all the things we needed, we when back to ship but before that we when to 'Nasi Padang' restaurant.(No picture at the restaurant).

 THE DAY TO COME! Its 04/01/2014.... MY SIGN OFF DAY! I was so excited that time but I feel so sad too....I need to Signed Off as the company having a problem. My flight ticket was Lion Air from Jakarta to KLIA2 (delayed for 1 hour as the weather not permitted).

The Scariest things ever happen to me when I nearly fall to sea when I am using Pilot Ladder. The swell quite high that time about 3metres. As the company want to save their budget we still signed off during the time.
I already on my last step.Suddenly the boat drifted astern and I missed my step. LUCKY ME, as my BOSUN quickly Grab me and we both fall inside the boat.(IF NOT,maybe I already squashed between the ship and the boat). I owe him my life. I think if he not take the immediate action sure I will not be here posting this entry.All considered fine after that but all away back home I was so quiet because of that incident.

 The Moral of the story, Stay safe, don't get so excited when signing off. Don't be like me as my mind already home, I forgot to stay aware.Love your life more than others as you will not get the chances to be alive twice.
