'Greetings, Greetings'

Each small street and large street
In everyone's mouth
The first sentence on meeting
Is Greetings greetings
Greetings greetings greetings to you!
Greetings greetings greetings to you

Lion Dance
Winter has come to an end
That's really good news
The warm spring wind
Will waken up the earth
Greetings greetings greetings to you!
Greetings greetings greetings to you

All the snow and ice is melting
The eyes see plum blossom
Slowly the long nights pass
The sound of a cock crowing is heard
Greetings greetings greetings to you!
Greetings greetings greetings to you

After much difficulty
After much testing
How many hearts are hoping
Looking forward to the news of spring
Greetings greetings greetings to you!
Greetings greetings greetings to you

CORAT-CORET SANG PELAUT

Assalamualaikum & hye 'blogerians'

Qori : Comel x kak tonn..hehe

steady..

GENG ARNAB

Gambar bersama alatan GMDSS (SART & EPIRB)

gelagat sang pelaut

Nik : senyum..tgk kt go pro aku.. XD

Coretan sang pelaut.

Recommended Eateries in Kuantan (Part 2 of 2)

Who's drooling for some good food? In this episode, I'm sharing 5 more must try eateries when you visit Kuantan. In today's part, most of them are serving family food such as tomyam and such. But, it is definitely worth your pocket, I guarantee. Except for the first restaurant, this one is a little bit special.

6. Crocodile Rock

What is so special of this Crocodile Rock, you ask me? It is because they serve western food that are affordable with the taste that others might charge you more. My favourites here are the salmon grill and pizzas. So so gooooooood. But their other food are great too and the drinks also are not bad. I suddenly feel the rush to have some asam boi drink. Urgh.

7. Mustapa Maju (3.754325, 103.225901)

Now, some more kampung food after the previous part. Hehe. You might think, "hek eleh, kedai kampung je kot". Stop there fellow young man, here is different. Over here, you get the spiced ayam kampung and gulai itik serati. You then add, "so? tempat lain pun ada, whatttt?".

Yes, you might find similar kind of food, I won't argue. You just come down here and try for yourself what they taste like. This small and humble kedai opens in the morning and it usually closes before 2pm or when the food are finished. Normally, the spiced ayam kampung will be gone before 12 noon since they receive a lot of customers who usually come with their whole family. You can even try the google street view using the above coordinate and see a lot of cars in front of the restaurant.

8. Restoran Tursina / Marina

Do you like salted egg crabs like this one? Match it with tomyam soup, sunny side up egg, and some grilled fish. Plus, some orange or watermelon juice. Perfect dinner. Oooooohhhhhhh.

These two restaurants in Tanjung Lumpur have them. I must say they serve the best salted egg crabs and grilled fish. They both are located just beside the main road at the Peramu area, most specifically in front of Kampung Peramu mosque. Now if you ask me, the taste are pretty similar but the price are a little bit better at Tursina than at Marina. It's your choice.

9. Nabila Tomyam

I could not find any picture of this restaurant but they also serve great and delicious food. I once tried their nasi goreng tomyam and it was surprisingly good. My brother, my sister and her family, as well as me have tried different food here. We like them all. So, here's the coordinate if you are interested in bringing families there.

Nabila Tomyam: 3.829461, 103.271024

10. Restoran Sara Thai at Balok

Finally the last one. Since they also serve the same kind of food like tomyam soup and such, why bother to write more, right? Just believe me that they would not make it in my list if their food taste not to my standard. Hehe.

So, that ends my stories on good food in Kuantan. You might wonder why I always use pictures from others? It is because I usually do not take pictures of my food. I might as well do it next time, only if I find the great ones.

Pen off. Bye.

Paintball

Assalamualaikum and good day everyone..

Pada hari ni (23/01/2016), aku dengan rela hati follow kawan-kawan pergi main paintball dekat Flashpoint Paintball Park Melaka. Aku follow je... Tak main pon. Tapi as the uncertified photographer, so kena jugak la share. Haha

Macam biasa lah, janji pukul 0830H dah kena ada sini. Tapi masih ada yang belum sampai.

Bila semua dah sampai, briefing diberi kepada semua peserta. Safety, how to play, etc..

Kena prepare lah before masuk kan. Takkan nak pakai baju tshirt biasa.

Info, pallets tu boleh mencecah kelajuan 400kaki sesaat. Even tak selaju bullet dari senjata api iaitu 4000kaki sesaat, tapi still sakit kalau kena shoot

First group ready untuk war.

Haha

Dalam court tu, face mask is compulsory. Time briefing, dia ada kata. "If the pallet hit the eye, you are gonna totally blind." So memang penting lah face mask ni.

Well lepas habis first game, for sure group members akan discuss pasal strategy untuk next game. Good thinking :p

Good place untuk beginner rasanya. Huhu

Enjoy !

Sang Suria :)

Assalamualaikum & selamat pagi.

Suria kala tiba membawakan cahaya.

Macam kita jugak, baru 'sign on' sudah berkira-kira untuk 'sign off'.

Knowing the Japanese's delicacies

Like Malaysia,Japan also have its own local and favourite foods.During 1 year of my shipboard training,i've tried quite a few number of japanese delicacies whenever i went for shore leave. The taste of japanese food was good and awesome. For example, the sushi taste made by japanese compared to Sushi king were totally different. It is because the use of different type of rice.Lets see what are the japanese food that i've  manage to try during my shore leave at Japan.
TAKOYAKI

Takoyaki is a ball-shaped Japanese snack made of a wheat flour-based batter and cooked in a special takoyaki pan. It is typically filled with minced or diced octopus (tako), tempura scraps (tenkasu), pickled ginger, and green onion.Takoyaki are brushed with takoyaki sauce (similar to Worcestershire sauce) and mayonnaise, and then sprinkled with green laver (aonori) and shavings of dried bonito (katsuobushi).
Soba Noodle(inc Tempura)

Soba is a noodle made from buckwheat and wheat flour. Soba noodles are available dried or fresh. They may be served with hot broth or cold with dipping sauce.
Tempura with Japanese's rice

Tempura is a Japanese dish of seafood or vegetables that have been battered and deep fried.Usually tempura are best made of from shrimp and served together with japanese white rice along with the hot green tea.

Kamaboko

Kamaboko is type of cured surimi, a Japanese processed seafood product, in which various white fishare pureed, combined with additives such as MSG, formed into distinctive loaves, and then steamed until fully cooked and firm. The steamed loaves are then sliced and served unheated (or chilled) with various dipping sauces or sliced and included in various hot soups, one-dish meals, or noodle dishes.

Doner's Kebab

The only kebab stall that you can found in Japan which located in Sodegaura. And what good about this kebab,it is halal and delicious.Only cost you around 500 yen(rm18) per kebab,it was fully satisfied enjoying this kebab while it was served hot.

I hope for my next shipboard service,i would like to have chance to try other japanese foods like shashimi during my shore leave time.

Thunder Buddies for Life.

Plan punya plan, kitorang pilih package yg cover seluruh trip sepanjang kitorang kat sana.

Package Megalicious:-

1.Speed boat pergi & blik
2.Snorkelling satu hari
3.Breakfast, lunch, dinner untuk 2h 1m
4.Free access swimming pool

Otw nak cari port snorkelling.

Abg penyu kirim salam.

Corals.

Mr. Brian dari Colombia. Member lama.

Ni last sebelum nak cast off dari pulau.

  • Paling penting, bawalah shades kerana mostly time siang matahari agak panas dan pandangan agak terbatas akibat silau.

Sekian..

A visit to Shirasagijo(Himeji Castle),Japan

During my 2nd ship, the first port call was Himeji,Japan.I never being to Himeji before,so what i did,I ask my chief mate for shore leave at Himeji this time.Luckily my chief mate gave his permission. Our vessel made fast (Himeji Port) at 1330 hours. As i finished with mooring operation,i straightly go to cabin to get ready for shoreleave.Ar 1430 hours,i am joining the first bus going to Kyoto (Himeji city). As we arrived i straightly go to tourist information centre to get the city map for the place we want to visit. The only thing in my head was about to visit the Shirasagijo which was the most famous place in the city.To get there,it taking about 30 min by walking. Finally we arrived at Himeji castle. All I can say that Japanese people are very kind to every tourist who come to their place.
So this is the view of Himeji castle from the main gate.

The ninja warrior guarding the castle's gate
One of the woman warrior guarding the castle
The side view of Himeji castle upon entering

About 10 steps from the main gate, you will meet these guys for photo taking

I spent my time exploring this legendary castle until my shore leave finished at 1830 hours. It was  a good memory and enjoyable moment for me.I wish that i can visit this castle one more time with my family.
